More About Our Coffee:

Depending on the region the bean is grown and the roasting process, you can accomplish flavor profiles ranging from fruity, floral and citrus taste, to nutty, smoky and earthy flavors. Similar to wine; which has 750 different flavor profiles, coffee has 1500 flavors depending on region/roast.  We take roasting coffee back to an art form and don't allow the digital age to tell us how our coffee should taste.  We roast each batch using sight, sound and smell and let the beans dictate the flavor.  
Current offerings:
Sanilac Sunrise - our most popular roast, which is in between medium and dark roast with a rich, full body (Ethiopian)
Lake Huron - a bright medium roast (Ethiopian) and a great morning coffee
Freighter  - our darkest roast, bold flavor (Ethiopian) can have notes of berry
Espresso - roasted perfect for the most flavorful espresso!
Blue Lake - mellow and smooth, can have an earthy note (Brazilian)
Blue Lake Dark - all the great qualities of Blue Lake, but more rich (Brazilian)
Colombian - we have a simple medium roast (great for breakfast)  and a dark roast available which is well balanced and rich
Sumatran - a low acid coffee from Indonesia that is full bodied, but still mellow enough for the average coffee drinker, rich finish
Bridge Blend - a blend of our amazing coffees that results in a rich, medium body and is a little complex with low acid
Honduran - a medium bodied coffee, in between mild and bold with a nutty note
Off to the Races - our lightest roast (blonde), bold, the highest caffeine coffee we offer!
Fitzgerald - a masterful blend of our Sanilac Sunrise and Colombian Dark
Hunter's Blend - a light roast Colombian with a bright rich flavor

WE ALSO HAVE A GREAT DECAF!  We have tested different decafs to find the best tasting coffee that pairs well with our other offerings.  We purchase Colombian Supremo coffee beans and prepare them as a medium roast.  The caffeine has also been removed without using a neurotoxin that is commonly used.  Haven't tried it yet?  Stop in for a sample!
